Meta introduces a standalone tool for iOS creators in the U.S. and Canada to streamline audience growth and community engagement.
Facebook announced Wednesday the rollout of its standalone Creator Studio app for iOS users in Canada and the United States. According to TechCrunch, the AI-powered application is designed to help creators grow their audiences and engage with communities through personalized recommendations based on goals, performance, audience engagement, and content style.
The app features an AI creator assistant that allows users to bypass traditional dashboards by asking direct questions regarding optimal posting times and comment sentiment. TechCrunch reports that the tool also includes an AI-powered comment feature that identifies priority comments and drafts responses in the creator's specific tone, which the user can then edit and approve. Additionally, the app provides a daily priorities feed to track goal progress and flag necessary replies.
Meta is deploying these tools as it competes for creator attention against rivals including YouTube and TikTok, TechCrunch reports. The move may also be an effort to decrease reliance on third-party performance analysis and ideation tools such as ChatGPT. This launch follows a series of recent Meta product releases, including the AI storytelling app StoryKit, the gaming app Pocket, the Instagram-linked photo app Instants, and the Reddit-like Facebook Groups app called Forum.
