The city has rebranded a section of Yonge Street and proclaimed a celebratory weekend to coincide with the group's Arirang World Tour.

The City of Toronto has officially unveiled "BTS Boulevard," a temporary street designation on Yonge Street in North York, to celebrate the K-pop group's upcoming performances as part of the Arirang World Tour. According to a City of Toronto news release, the honorary designation extends from North York Boulevard to Finch Avenue and will remain in effect until Wednesday, September 23.

The initiative, approved by Toronto City Council, includes 20 street signs featuring a red design inspired by the tour's visual branding. The production of these signs was supported by a donation from Sunray Group of Hotels. After the installation period concludes, the signs are expected to be given to NeighbourLink North York to be distributed as a free giveaway.

In addition to the street renaming, the city has proclaimed Saturday, August 22, and Sunday, August 23, as "BTS Weekend" in Toronto, coinciding with two sold-out concerts. To mark the event, the Toronto Sign at Nathan Phillips Square will be lit in purple, a color widely linked to the group and its fan community.

City officials stated the move is intended to celebrate the group and Toronto's vibrant Korean Canadian culture. To support this, the Yonge North York BIA has provided a "Korean Vibe Guide" to help visitors locate local Korean-owned businesses along the newly designated boulevard.
