Daryl Michael Boyd is wanted for failing to comply with release orders after his court-mandated ankle monitor lost signal.

Toronto police are seeking public assistance to locate 36-year-old Daryl Michael Boyd, a man of no fixed address who is currently wanted for two counts of failing to comply with a release order, as CityNews Toronto first reported.

According to CityNews Toronto, officers were dispatched to the area of Cosburn Avenue and Woodbine Avenue around 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The deployment occurred after police received information that a man facing several charges had breached the conditions of his release.

Investigators allege that Boyd was subject to a court order requiring him to wear a GPS ankle monitor and maintain the device's charge at all times. CityNews Toronto reports that police were notified the monitor had not been charged, resulting in a loss of signal.

Because the device stopped transmitting, Boyd's current whereabouts are unknown. Toronto police describe the suspect as having a slim build, standing six feet tall, with brown hair and short brown facial hair.

Authorities have released a photograph of Boyd and are urging anyone with information regarding his location to contact police at 416-808-5500 or provide an anonymous tip via Crime Stoppers.
