The AI platform for physical operations reports record growth in large-scale customers, though the sustainability of its rapid expansion remains a key metric.

Samsara Inc. (NYSE: IOT) has surpassed $2.1 billion in annual recurring revenue (ARR), representing a 30% increase year over year, as the Financial Post first reported.

In its Q2 FY27 results, the company highlighted a trend of large organizations consolidating their physical operations—including equipment, vehicles, and frontline workflows—onto its platform. Samsara reported quarterly records for new customer acquisitions, adding 20 customers with over $1 million in ARR and 242 customers with over $100,000 in ARR. Specifically, ARR from customers in the $1 million-plus bracket grew by more than 50% year over year for the third consecutive quarter, now exceeding $500 million.

Samsara Chief Revenue Officer Amit Vyas stated that large organizations are increasingly digitizing and expanding from single use cases to utilizing the platform across teams and assets. This expansion is reflected in the company's customer data: among clients with over $100,000 in ARR, 72% use at least three products and 96% use at least two. Recent large-scale wins include Sonepar, a B2B electrical product distributor, and APi Group, a provider of specialty, security, and safety services.

The company also achieved its fourth consecutive quarter of GAAP EPS profitability and generated $134 million in net new ARR, a 28% increase year over year. Additionally, emerging products accounted for more than 20% of net new ACV for the third straight quarter.
