The tech giant is integrating its AI agent with major commerce and productivity tools to help merchants manage operations and customer acquisition.
Meta announced Tuesday the expansion of its AI agent, Muse, to small businesses, integrating the tool with a wide array of third-party software including Shopify, Stripe, Intuit QuickBooks, and Klaviyo, according to TechCrunch. The company is also adding integrations for Slack, Dropbox, Notion, Canva, Figma, Asana, Box, Granola, HighLevel, Lovable, and Zoom.
By connecting Muse to the software merchants already use for marketing, operations, and sales, Meta aims to provide an AI agent with full operational context. TechCrunch reports that Muse can link directly to Meta ad accounts, Facebook pages, and Instagram professional account analytics, allowing the agent to understand a brand's voice, product catalog, and common customer inquiries.
This rollout follows the Monday launch of the "Meta Enterprise Platform," an initiative led by Chirantan “CJ” Desai, the former CEO of MongoDB. Meta stated the platform is designed to bring its full technology stack—including Muse Code, Muse API, and Meta Business Agent—to developers and corporate customers.
Muse for Small Business is available for free with specific usage limits, though Meta is offering subscription plans for businesses requiring higher usage. The move comes as Meta competes with Google and OpenAI to monetize its AI investments by expanding beyond consumer applications and into the enterprise market.
