A new interactive experiment allows users to roleplay as chatbots, turning the limitations of generative AI into a social game.

A new platform titled "Your AI Slop Bores Me" is inviting users to engage in a reversal of the typical human-AI relationship by roleplaying as chatbots. As reported by The Verge, the experience consists of two primary interfaces: one for submitting requests and another for those "LARPing" as an AI to provide the answers.

According to The Verge, the system operates on a token-based economy. Users can earn credits by acting as the AI and responding to prompts, or they can receive one free request every two minutes. Those roleplaying as the AI are given 150 seconds to fulfill requests, which can be submitted as text or images. The image tool is described by The Verge as a bare-bones, MS-Paint-like utility, often leading to humorous results when users attempt to draw complex subjects, such as obscure anime characters, within the strict time limit.

While The Verge notes that the platform's advertisements are obtrusive, the site has fostered a community through a dedicated Discord server and a "Hall of Fame" that showcases notable creations, including a rendition of *Starry Night*.
