The 2026 lineup emphasizes Gemini integration and curated features, while battery capacities dip and prices climb.

Google has unveiled its 2026 hardware lineup, featuring the Pixel 11 series, Pixel Watch 5, and the first in-house tracker, the Pixel Tag. According to Ars Technica, Google is prioritizing curated AI experiences and Gemini-powered features over significant hardware specification upgrades this year.

The Pixel 11 series launches with the base model at $899, the Pro at $1,099, the Pro XL at $1,299, and the Pro Fold at $1,899. While the Pro models feature brighter displays (3,600 nits) and a new "HiLight" RGB LED ring for Gemini and specific call notifications, Ars Technica reports a bizarre reversal in battery trends. The three flat models see slight capacity decreases, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold drops by 200 mAh to 4,806 mAh.

TechCrunch reports that the base Pixel 11 now starts at 256GB of storage, doubling the previous capacity, though the price has increased by $100 over the Pixel 10. TechCrunch attributes this price hike to the removal of the 128GB option and ongoing RAM supply shortages.

On the software side, TechCrunch highlights new Gemini features including "Rambler" for unstructured voice input and an expansion of "Live Transcribe" to support American Sign Language via the Pixel Camera.

Other additions include the $29 Pixel Tag, which connects to Android's Find Hub network, and the Pixel Watch 5 (starting at $399), which adds blood pressure and insulin resistance trend summaries via the Google Health app.
